Countries: 

The eight UEMOA countries (Benin, Burkina Faso, Ivory Coast, Guinea Bissau, Mali, Niger & Senegal) and a head quarter based in Niger.

Context: 

Each site must use the centralized computing resources in Senegal.

Connections must meet the safety requirement of the banking sector and be based on IP.

Customer's needs

  • The interconnection of all subsidiaries with headquarters to share resources.

  • Real time Customer service between the Data Centre and the agencies.

  • A network supporting integrated voice-data-image (choice of IP).

  • The establishment of a videoconferencing solution. And sharing of secure Internet access.

  • Centralization of accounting data and statistics from remote servers to the central database (networking).

Afinis solution

  • A VSAT star network between Data Centre of the Bank and agencies.

  • Local Microwave (MW) and Wireless Local Loop (WLL) links (backhauling) between agencies or branch offices and the main V-SAT's site of the country.

  • A private Hub allowing dynamic allocation of bandwidth.

  • Routers to ensure the Classes of Service (IP QoS) to manage videoconferencing and allow IP telephony.

  • Broadband Internet access dedicated and secure (via a dedicated link).

  • A secured and monitored network 24 * 7 * 365 from the Network Operation Center.

  • A training program allowing BRS teams to supervise and maintain the implemented solution.
